Individual Lessons - Children
The needs of young singers differ just as those of adults do. Some children are bursting to sing at every opportunity, while others want to but need time to find their confidence. I offer a flexible, patient approach that allows each child to discover their individual voice and to use it with confidence. I was shortlisted for the 2017 Classic FM Music Teacher of the Year award for my work with a gifted young student.
Singing is the most personal, immediate form of musical communication and an ideal foundation for playing an instrument or nurturing a lifelong love of music. I offer comprehensive preparation for all aspects of the ABRSM exam syllabus, including sight-singing, aural skills and music theory.
I believe that singing should be accessible to all. Part-scholarships are available for committed students for regular lessons where parents are unable to afford the full fee. Please get in touch for more details.
